A proposal Septa is tossing around would be to combine the 75 and 53 to make it one route, as soon as the improvements to Wayne Junction Station are completed. Instead of adding trackless wires on the 53 section, the new line would be all bus. This would free up some trackless coaches to be used on the 59 & 66, currently with the breakdowns, there is a shortage.

Again, this is just a proposal.

I will oppose any proposal involving the 53 that does not involve combining it with route H. This is also another attempt by SEPTA to throw in the towel on the trackless fleet since they screwed up by not ordering enough spares.

SEPTA seriously need to do something with the 53. I think SEPTA would be better off combining the route 53 with the route H instead of the 75.
